ABOUT ME

How do I define myself? How do I craft a bio that genuinely reflects my essence to others? With each passing day, my awareness of my spiritual center grows stronger, yet conveying this to others remains a challenge. What I am recognizing about myself is a diminishing attachment to seeking approval from others, allowing me to embrace the profound joy that arises from living in a more authentic way.

My personal journey has taken me to strange places full of darkness and light.

  • I had a difficult childhood overshadowed by a revolution, war, and trauma.
  • I started meditating and studying Buddhism when I was 18. That was over 20 years ago!
  • I moved to the United States in 1997.
  • In 2005, I walked into a therapist’s office for the first time not because I was experiencing any major psychological challenges but because I wanted to get to know myself.
  • In 2007, I went on a pilgrimage to India in search of spiritual guidance
  • In 2012, I graduated university with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts & Theater Performance.
  • I worked in theater and film for 15 years.
  • In 2016 I had a challenging Spiritual Emergency which has evolved into a guiding energy that is still with me today.
  • In 2017, I started seeing a Jungian Analyst and studying Alchemy.
  • In 2018, I joined a Dream Tending group that I’m still a part of. It changed my life and marked the beginning of my healing journey.
  • In 2019, I joined the Mastery Circle, a large gathering of individuals who celebrate the deepening of spiritual connection and higher levels of consciousness.
  • In 2020, I moved to Florence, Italy and also started graduate school.
  • In 2021, I started studying Shamanism.
  • In 2022, I started studying the Dream Tending method.
  • In 2023, I received a master’s degree in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Transpersonal Psychology.
  • I did my master’s thesis on Transformative Potential of Group Dreamwork which I am currently presenting at conferences around the world.
  • I hold a certificate in Jungian Dream Interpretation from The Center for Applied Jungian Studies.
  • I have an introverted personality and I am a Type 1 on the Enneagram Type Indicator. That means I am conscientious, sensible, responsible, idealistic, ethical, serious, self-disciplined, orderly, and feel personally obligated to improve myself and the world.
  • Today, I am a dream practitioner and researcher, theater artist, writer, guide, and teacher.

Through personal experiences, I have repeatedly seen the value of dreamwork in healing physical ailments and psychological wounds. Additionally, I have learned to use my dreams to navigate life challenges, to ask for spiritual guidance, to tap into my creativity, to ask for support from my ancestors and spirit teachers, and much more. It seems that the more I work with the images of the psyche, the less I hurt physically and psychologically.

I offer individual sessions as well as facilitate groups and workshops working with people on their dreams. There is an awareness and intelligence behind the images that the psyche offers to us. We can learn to work with this force to heal and grow. The purpose of my work is to inspire people to engage [intensively] with the imagination.

I don’t know what comes next in my journey. My life experiences have taught me to approach life with an open curiosity and live in a place of “not-knowing”. What I know for sure is that working with dream images is my passion, and my purpose is to serve.
