WORK W/ ME

About a third of my cases are suffering from no clinically definable neurosis but from the senselessness and emptiness of their lives. This can be defined as the general neurosis of our times. – Carl Jung

Jung believed that “the general neurosis of our time must be understood, ultimately, as the suffering of a soul which has not discovered its meaning.”

In the Red Book, Jung wrote: “Dreams are guiding words of the soul.” Dreams offer us a window to the soul. Through working with our dreams, we can stay in touch with the soul and allow our soul to guide us out of the senselessness and emptiness of our lives.

Dreams are like little pathways that take us to the depths where soul resides. That’s why they are needed more than ever now, in the age of artificial intelligence, social media, and systemic superficiality.  It is also perhaps why we, ‘the humans’ are dreaming more than we have in the past. It’s how the psyche takes care of us by constantly pulling us down every night, into the depths.

We could see dreams as our own personal myths and listen to their poetry and appreciate their eternal mysteries. I approach dreams and dreamwork from a spiritual and psychological point of view. In my work, I use the principals of Jungian and Post-Jungian Psychology and I truly believe that bringing a transpersonal attitude to illness and healing (physical or psychological) has the potential to help individuals assign meaning to suffering, go beyond the boundaries of their illness, and find their inner truth. My role is to help care for the soul of the dreamers who share their dream images with me.

I regard dreamwork as a spiritual practice. I am a guide and facilitator, not a therapist. Together, we work with your dreams, images, and visions as a powerful source of insight and healing. Because your dreams arise from your unique history, I do not interpret them for you; instead, we explore what they are revealing and what your psyche is asking of you.

Depending on your needs, I share tools for dream recall, dreamwork, dream re-entry, intentional dreaming, dream incubation, and lucid dreaming, along with relevant resources and practices to support integration. Together, we develop ways to implement meaningful life changes based on what your dreams reveal.

We begin with a complementary first session, and if we are a good match, we agree on a way forward. Most people start with a set of a few regular sessions to begin the work, and later assess whether to continue.
